I love Pearl, she is clearly a pastiche on these “I’m the oldest and I know best” types, but she is still completely sincere. It’s hard to make satire that is still genuine. She works both ways, really, both as a loving sister and as a remark on how stifling an overly doting sibling or parent can be.

ps please use Square, not PayAnywhere. I couldn’t recommend them less and will never use them again it’s impossible to figure out their app or how to get your money out of it hahaha
I feel kinda bad because I rec’d them to you but then I never had any problems with them. I always got my money the day after and never had any problems with them.
Also, Square’s reader is awful and I wish they would redesign it.
